What ia doner ?!

Simply stated doner kebab (pronounced as either "daw-ner" or "dur-nah") is any meat that has been roasted on a  vertical rotisserie. The secret rests with the meat being first seasoned and then marinated for up to three days before being slow roasted on the rotisserie. Once the meat has cooked it is then cut into beautiful succulent slivers and can be either eaten by itself or placed into bread as a type of savory sandwich.

DBD's Story

DBD is a family-owned, locally-operated culinary dream come true. Owner Dan Eberhardt and his passion for döners began in 1991 when he was a foreign exchange student to Germany his junior year of high school. It was then and there Dan was introduced to the marvelously tasty German street food of doner kebab! Never had he tasted something so simple yet so flavorful!

And ever since his first bite into a "daaaawner" he dreamed of bringing the sandwich back home to his fellow west coasters. Dan's desire is nothing short of wanting to awaken each person's taste buds to a never-before-experienced symphony of culinary sensory events caused by eating a doner.

Today Döners by Dan or DBD is Dan's dream-turned-reality.
